Adelaide | Cox Arboretum | Springboro Senior Class of 2024
Adelaide is a senior at Springboro High School. She wants to be a doctor and loves nature. We shot her session at Cox Arboretum Metropark, where I have to admit, I usually struggle to find authentic inspiration; not this time though. Adelaide, with her dark eyes and bright smiles was all the muse I needed.
We played with light in a shadowy forest, faked violin in a tall grass field and climbed a creaky wooden treehouse only to watch the cherry candy sun sink down into a verdant valley. It was one of those magical summer nights and so of course, I took waaay too many pictures.
Congratulations on making it this far Adelaide, I hope you have a magical senior year!
One word to describe me is adventurous.
My favorite things are nature- forests, waterfalls, hiking & camping.
I’m involved in Aerial Arts, figure skating, National Honor Society, Spanish club, Girl Scouts, Junior Council of World Affairs, Academic Team, Envirothon, and Environmental Club.
In my free time I listen to music, play violin, practice my aerial arts, make jewelery and do art.
I listen to Dark Wave, Alternative Metal, and Screamo. Some of my favorite bands are Pierce the Veil, Deftones, London After Midnight, Muse & Depeche Mode.
Sometimes I get caught up in the big things to come and don’t live in the moment.
I’ve learned to try new things, and know when it’s time to leave my comfort zone.
I like that I am a leader and I’m hardworking.
After graduation I plan to double major in biology and chemistry and use this as a premed track. I’m currently looking at pharmacy, immunology and virology, and surgery.
People around me are here to support me in college, and they’ve believed that I would make it since I was little.
In ten years I see myself living somewhere rural surrounded with lots of forests.
