When you’ve been a Dayton senior photographer as long as I have, you learn that no matter how meticulously you plan, live sessions have a way of throwing a few curveballs. But time and time again, I’ve found that the sessions with the most plot twists turn out to be some of the best! That...
From First Birthdays to High Finance It feels like just yesterday I was taking pictures of little Max at his very first birthday party! I’ve known Max and his family for what feels like forever- his mom, Pam, was very generous back when I was first starting out in photography, letting me practice and snap...
Ohio Roots, Tennessee Soul Nora is my gorgeous supermodel niece with Ohio roots and Tennessee soul. She sings like an angel and can turn on her country accent whenever she feels like it. She’s a senior this year and after graduation plans on following God wherever He leads. Day One: Summer Blooms at UT Gardens...
From Colorado to Ohio: A Honored Connection Every once in a while, a session comes along that feels like a backstage pass to a client’s personal world. That was exactly the case with Ryan’s senior session! Ryan’s mom, Jen, actually found me online all the way from Colorado. With deep roots and family connections right...
And now for another special senior! Our second born son, Jonah Lee, is a senior at the Warren County Career Center. He’s in the Culinary program and plans to join the Coast Guard or go into ministry after graduation. A ‘cute, Christian boy’ like his father and a sad song lover like his mama, we...
Michael is my nephew—Bobby’s boy. He’s a senior at Ross Township High School and just wrapped up his final football season with the Ross Rams. My older brother Tyler and his wife Cindy have raised Michael as their own since he was ten years old, and the love, stability, and grit they’ve poured into him...
Lilly is a senior at Oakwood High School with her sights set high—literally! She dreams of becoming a pilot after graduation. We kicked things off at Houk Stream Park, tucked right in her hometown, before heading to Moraine Airpark where she felt completely in her element among the planes and open skies. At first, Lilly...
Luke is a senior at West Carrollton who plans to pursue music after graduation. He is Logan’s younger brother, whom I photographed a few years back at Riverscape. The brothers play in a metal band together called Jesus of Hamartia. We shot his session in front of graffiti walls and The Silos around 2nd Street...
Jay is a senior at Samuel Everett School of Innovation and plans to work in cybersecurity after graduation. He’s also my favorite red-headed nephew 🙂 We shot his senior pictures in downtown Maryville and then chased the sunset through the mountains, my sister-in-law Lindsay at the wheel, driving fast and fearlessly as only a Tennessee...
Olivia is a senior at Lebanon High School and plans to be a teacher after graduation. We shot her senior session at Cox Arboretum. It was a bright and sunshiney day- felicitous for this brilliant blue-eyed belle, beaming with happy smiles. Olivia, may your senior year be as merry as you are! Brimming with joy,...
This was my second time capturing Katelyn. Her mom, Lisa, found me a few years ago when she was looking for someone to photograph Katelyn’s sweet sixteen milestone. We all instantly connected- both on and off camera. So I was thrilled to work with them again this fall for Katelyn’s senior pictures and even more...
Kahlil is a senior at Springboro High School and plans to be a mechanical engineer after he graduates. We shot his senior session at Eastwood Metropark & the Oregon District. We had a few special furry friends make guest appearances, including Kahlil’s wise, old tabby cat, aptly named Silver, and the funky, flashy, fresh puppy...
Aiden is a senior at Springboro High School and plans to be a realtor after he graduates. We shot his senior session at Caesar Creek Lake. Isabella is a senior at Springboro High School and plans to study in the medical field after graduation. We shot her senior session at Patricia Allyn Park. We were gifted with a sacred, shining sunset, perfect for soulful silhouettes and twirling about in pretty dresses. Isabella, may your senior year be righteous! Full of God’s...
What can I say? Just like her brother Ethan, who I photographed back in 2022, Leila is a natural beauty. She was so comfortable in front of my camera that by the end of the session, I almost felt as if I had cheated her in some way because I didn’t have to work very hard....
Jonathan is a senior at Miamisburg High School and plans to study Mechanical Engineering in college. We shot his senior session on his home turf in downtown Miamisburg & Riverfront Park. The weather was summer bright and blazing- perfect for highlighting Jonathan’s impressive athletic abilities and laid back smiles. Jonathan, I hope your senior year...
Liv is graduating from Badin High School this month and plans to study forensic science at Ohio Northern University this fall. We shot her senior photography session at the glorious Ault Park in Cincinnati. It was my first time shooting on the sprawling lawns and they did not disappoint. The evening was pleasantly cool with...
After all these years photographing high school seniors, the time has come for me showcase one of our very own. Our firstborn son, David, is a senior this year at the Warren County Career. He’s in the Construction Trades program and plans to continue apprenticing in the field after graduation. Practical and patient like his...
Ben is a senior at Dayton Regional Stem school. He plans to go into the medical field and keep making music. Ben is also a Fullam boy- a family I have known since I was a teenager. His parents, Rich & Cherry, were kind of like cool older siblings to me. They sang in a...
