Momtographer

I guess you could just sum me up as one of those "Momtographers" -a term I came across on social media a few years back. It had a derogatory connotation and implied that we mom photographers who started in the trade by merely taking pictures of our kids, were not "real" photographers.

I'm not sure who coined this phrase and what they had against moms, but if I could meet them today I'd probably lick my finger, wipe the chocolate off their face and then ask to take their picture.

My kids get all the glory for my photography obsession. They were my original inspiration and though they are not as cute now that they are teenagers, I will forever be taking too many pictures of them...
