Ben is a senior at Dayton Regional Stem school. He plans to go into the medical field and keep making music. Ben is also a Fullam boy- a family I have known since I was a teenager. His parents, Rich & Cherry, were kind of like cool older siblings to me. They sang in a church band together and taught me all about ‘real life issues.’ They have a beautiful love story and their gorgeous firstborn son, Ben, is tangible proof 🙂
Strong and subtle, smiling and serious, laughing and a bit nervous, Ben hung in there with me and my messy longwinded style of shooting in the patient way that only a big brother could.
Ben, I hope you have a fulfilling senior year full of creative exploration, challenges taken and the overwhelming sensation of a job well done…
One word to describe me is dedicated.
I like my drive to make myself a better person.
My favorite things are music, new experiences, and working to improve myself.
I love learning languages and I’ve been taking Chinese for 4 years.
I played soccer for almost 10 years, but now my exercise is mostly weightlifting.
I play guitar and love music. I listen to many different genres. My favorite is hip-hop.
I look up to anyone who has achieved what others consider to be “success,” but continue to do more.
Being comfortable and being fulfilled are not the same.
I never feel like I’m doing enough.
I can be distracted easily.
I was surprised to learn that I’m almost 18.
After high school I plan to continue making music, receive a four-year degree, and eventually attend medical school.
But I don’t know how to predict the future- life can’t always be planned.
I’m not even 18 yet and my life has been full of things I never expected…
I mean, would ya just look at these two lovebirds???
