Cole’s Senior Story | Downtown Dayton | GCCC Class of 2023

Cole is AriAnne’s son, Jaden’s identical twin and Niah’s younger brother. I photographed Niah’s woodland senior session last year at Aullwood Garden around the same time.

This year, I was so excited to meet Niah’s twin brothers and photograph them in a completely different setting- downtown Dayton near Chaminade Julienne High School.

Their mom, AriAnne, told me that while she loved having twins, she always valued the boys having their own identity and individuality. She was not one to dress them in the same clothes but rather made a point to dress them differently. Not only I do I respect her for that, I’m quite grateful because it made my job easier- I could definitely tell the boys apart and so will you.

These boys are quite different in personality and appearance but they do have one thing in common: they love working on their cars…

One word to describe me is sensitive.

I don’t know why but ever since I was a kid I’ve always been sensitive and I’m a “person pleaser.” I try and stay away from drama and keep trying to please others.

This world is pretty cruel. Everyone is quick to judge and there’s so many negative people in this world who don’t care.

I’ve learned that having a few solid friends who you can relate to deeply and enjoy a lifetime with is way better than being friends with everyone and having a bunch of non-deep shallow relationships.

I like how people are all different and have their own stories. Everyone is unique but you don’t know their story unless you get to know them personally.

Theres not a particular person I look up to, but I’ve met a lot of really genuine people that make me want to be positive and keep motivated.

I keep myself organized. I cannot function if something is out of place or order. When I get organized I can get motivated to get stuff done.

Sometimes I struggle pretty hard at life but I try my best to hide and put on a smile so I can get through the workday and get home and work on my truck and try my best to enjoy.

In my free time I mostly work on my truck. It’s a Toyota Pickup that I’ve been restoring and bringing back to its former glory. Every spare chance I get I’m always at the junkyard or working on my little Toyota truck.

I go to a Career Center so I’m in the automotive program but other than that I just work.

After graduation I plan on working full time at the automotive shop I’m currently working at right now. I’ve been there almost a year and I love what I do (for the most part) but I just plan on working and continue bettering my life.

In ten years I see myself out of the automotive industry and doing something like welding, maybe with a family of some sort, and still working on my own vehicles in my spare time.
