Caitlin’s senior session was as authentic as she is. We started inside her Uncle’s stunning Victorian home filled with warm wood and instruments. Then we headed out back to find us a funky and fancy garden fit with a chandelier and chamomile. After that we headed over to Wegerzyn Gardens just in time for a good ol’ fashioned thunderstorm.
While I was trying to figure out what we should do- wait it out or reschedule- Caitlin took off her shoes. She was ready to play in the rain! So her mom prayed and held the umbrella for me while we all three scurried about taking pictures.
I love my seniors and their mamas too! They take me on the most memorable adventures…
One word to describe me is musical.
I do musical theater, steel band, jazz band, thespians, key club, NHS, and vocal and flute lessons.
In my free time I like to play the piano and ukulele, sing, play video games, play with my dogs, and care for my plants.
I listen to Indie, Folk, and Classical.
I’ve learned to never follow the norms.
I like my ability to make a quick judgement but I struggle with my internal pessimism.
The most important thing I learned in high school was how one teacher can change your entire high school career.
I look up to my vocal instructor because of her ability to push through challenges and help others along the way.
After graduation I would like to go to college and at least receive my masters in music education and my masters in vocal performance.
In ten years I see myself hopefully teaching music at a college,
but who knows, I could always end up being a famous vocalist…
although that may be pushing it a little!
Thanks again Uncle Jason for letting us traipse around in your home and garden…
